"The researchers said they couldn't prove that marijuana use itself increases the risk of psychosis, a category of several disorders with schizophrenia being the most commonly known." Holy shit. Yellow journalism. Some Brits were complaining about this being published yesterday. Today it's a fucking CNN headline. This conservative, stupid, thoughtless, back-ward bullshit is just getting out of hand.

As usual, the REAL STORY is in the last paragraph, which reads :
" Two of the authors of the study were invited experts on the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs Cannabis Review in 2005. Several authors reported being paid to attend drug company-sponsored meetings related to marijuana, and one received consulting fees from companies that make antipsychotic medications. " ... nice, ain't it ?

I just got off the air, with the 'Armstrong & Getty Show', a syndicated radio-talkshow ... I pointed out the last paragraph regarding the obvious slanted opinions of the 'doctors' in the study ... they allowed me to read it on-air ... to my surprise, Armstrong and Getty agreed with me, that the study was obviously biased (pretty good, as these guys aren't 'pro-pot') ... :smokin:

I really don't understand why they can't spend their time focusing on harmful drugs... I mean, yes we know heroin is harmful already, but we've known for thousands of years that marijuana is not. If they really cared about stopping drug abuse, they'd stop spreading this bullshit about marijuana.
