I always attribute that phenomenon to pheromones when it happens. It still happens even when you're old and married, only you don't act on it. (Well, some people might.) It's some chemical-attraction thing that just connects you.

Thats the nail on the head for the most part. You would be suprised what you can attribute to pheromones.

Most times that you see that person that you just immediately want, but dont know why, thats pheromones.

Those little bastards have a hand in alot of what goes down with interaction between humans. And its not just in men->women women->men. It happens between those of the same sex too, but in a slightly different way, not so much the sexy, but more of the respect and honor kind of thing.

Love at first sight?....not exactly but wtf Ok, i find it odd how every once and a while there will be someone you get to know though a party, school, whatever, who you just become randomly fixed on. It doesn't matter how well you know them (most often rather someone you don't know at all), but all you want to do is be with them. Keep in mind, this doesn't have to be a total knockout in terms of looks, but there is some untangeable aspect about them that just draws you in.
