Ok, i find it odd how every once and a while there will be someone you get to know though a party, school, whatever, who you just become randomly fixed on. It doesn't matter how well you know them (most often rather someone you don't know at all), but all you want to do is be with them.

Keep in mind, this doesn't have to be a total knockout in terms of looks, but there is some untangeable aspect about them that just draws you in. Maybe this, like love, is unexplainable, but either way it is an odd thing that seems to happen every once in a while...........particularilly right now for me, involving a girl i met at a party. Despite her good looks, there was something else, like some greater power that was begging me to be with her, which is exactly what i feel is going to happen...

christ...am i on the same page as anyone else here?

Its not that odd. I have recently developed a "crush" on someone I have known since freshman year of highschool, which was ages ago. Didnt like them back then, do so very much now.

Best bet is to just go with it. Give it your best shot.

I always attribute that phenomenon to pheromones when it happens. It still happens even when you're old and married, only you don't act on it. (Well, some people might.) It's some chemical-attraction thing that just connects you.

Do you think that it happens when you're both compatible.. I mean, does it generally mean that the other person is also feeling it? Cause once in a while when it happens to me then the young lady starts to get squirmy like a little kid who has to pee and I'm not sure if she's feeling it too or if she is uncomfortable or if she actually just has to pee. (BTW, I know it sounds like a dumb middle school question but I had middle school at home with my mom and sister and then in high school it was just really too awkward to talk to girls so I really don't know anything. I'm 27 and yes, I know how lame this sounds so if you're gonna flame me take your best shot it won't bother me a bit.)

Thats the nail on the head for the most part. You would be suprised what you can attribute to pheromones.

Most times that you see that person that you just immediately want, but dont know why, thats pheromones.

Those little bastards have a hand in alot of what goes down with interaction between humans. And its not just in men->women women->men. It happens between those of the same sex too, but in a slightly different way, not so much the sexy, but more of the respect and honor kind of thing.
