11g Controlled Delivery to Florida Teacher
This is a story that I came across that I felt should have been posted even though it involved drugs in the mail. I feel that this was very stupid for the Feds to get involved if a mere 11 grams of weed was involved.
This is what really gets my blood boiling...realizing that our Law Enforcement wastes precious time and resources on things of this nature. It sure didn't stop the drug trade believe me! Ooooo are streets are so much safer now after the 11 grams of weed was taken away! Fucking retards...plain and simple. Cops who act like this really need to be taken out back and shot because of draconian stupidity like this that they enforce. They are the true dangers to society.
First of all, you don't get the Feds involved in a ridiculous case like this AT ALL!!! But the authorities need a warrant from a FEDERAL judge to open any 1st class USPS mail....period. The cops did not do that in this case. Instead of being at least somewhat proper, they coerced the teacher into having the authorities open his package and searching his house, which legally makes him say "yes i was expecting weed in my mail. arrest me". He consented to the dreadful search. THIS IS WHY WE HAVE A FOURTH AMENDMENT RIGHT!!!!! Our Founding Fathers probably foresaw this kind of tyranny again so they did the best they could to protect us. They knew that law was the problem and not a solution. He never denied which was a very disastrous move on his end. He will probably loose his job now and his life is probably ruined forever on something this ridiculous.
This really reminds me of a bunch of cops believing there is a bomb in a package in the mail, and all they find is a fucking birthday cake.
Cuz cops are RETAAAAAAAAARDED!!

Dade teacher is arrested on drug charges
A Braddock Senior High cooking teacher has been arrested after he received in the mail a package with 11 grams of marijuana, police say.
The U.S. Postal Service made a first-class delivery to Braddock Senior High culinary arts teacher Jack Greenberg. It landed him in jail.
An alert postal employee smelled marijuana wafting from an envelope from Jacksonville addressed to Greenberg. A postal inspector, along with state and federal agents, knocked on his apartment door in Kendall.
He agreed to let them open the envelope and search his home, authorities said.
The first-class envelope contained 11 grams of marijuana, police said.
Inside the apartment, they found a Swiss Army watch box. It held a plastic bottle with marijuana, a small plastic baggie of marijuana, a pipe and cigarette papers.
The total seized: 21 grams.
Greenberg, 57, admitted he was waiting for the envelope but refused to say who sent the drugs, according to an arrest report.
The burly bearded chef was cuffed last week, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Greenberg posted $6,500 bond.
Greenberg on Wednesday called the arrest report an ''outstanding work of fiction.'' ''I totally dispute the charges. My lawyer and I feel the charges will be dropped,'' he said.
Agents credited an employee at an undisclosed local post office.
''This postal employee was alert enough to look at this package and recognized the strange odor might be a controlled substance,'' said postal inspector Del Alvarez, a spokesman.
A postal inspector, a U.S. Marshals deputy and Florida Department of Law Enforcement Agent Chris Bosworth later knocked on his door at 8981 SW 142nd Ave.
Greenberg has worked at Braddock for three years. He had not notified the school of his arrest Wednesday, although classes are out for summer vacation, the district said.
Generally, schools employees who are arrested are transferred to a position away from students.
During the 2006 Calle Ocho festival, Greenberg and a student placed second in a cooking competition. The dish: citrus grilled chicken with chipotle melon salsa.Anubis10012007 Reviewed by Anubis10012007 on . 11g Controlled Delivery to Florida Teacher This is a story that I came across that I felt should have been posted even though it involved drugs in the mail. Cops are dicks in situations like that, but if you send weed over the mail and have never heard of a vacuum packer or you're a 57 year old teacher that doesnt know his rights, you deserve to get caught. 3x vacuum packed weed can barely be detected by a dog, yet alone a lonely postal worker in some podunk Florida town. Use your head if you're going to traffick.
Looks like the charges are going to be dropped anyways.

I am just disgusted that many levels of the government got involved in something this petty and ridiculous.
Ya know...it was probably some old ass postman who worked there for like 50 years who just "had a hunch". I dunno.
Hmm...didn't I hear that curiosity killed the cat? They were lucky they didn't stumble on some of the shit that organized crime runs. If it was a large amount, that postman would have had a hit on him probably. They don't like it when you fuck with their shit.
And you wonder why people think Americans are stupid.

they say our nation's drug laws are meant to eliminate drug dealers, not drug users...in this case it has ruined this teacher's life. How fucking ridiculous.
