Why haven't I heard of George Carlin before?

Well, i have to admit I never heard of him before maybe hes not really that popular in the UK, but just watched that clip its hilarious!! lmaoo!! especially the bit where hes going on about religion.

his funniests (to me atleast) are probably complaints and greiviences or you are all diseased....

he's like my favorite stand up comic...i'm only missing a couple of his performances. (he's got loads.. he's been doing hbo specials since the 70's)
