I've been trying to come up with a design for a cabinet that'll use 4 ft x 8 ft plywood from the home store.

To make the most out of the wood, I'd like to make the cab 8 feet long. I probably won't make it 4 feet deep but I might be able to.

The cab will be in the basement where the temps are pretty good. The process will need to be stealthy, including drying.

I've about decided on a 4 foot T5 6-tube fixture for the blooming area, so that section will need to be a little over four feet long.

Should I make two sections, one general purpose for veg/bloom and a small one for drying?

Or is there room for three sections - one for a mother plant, one for blooming, and one for drying?

I think I'm asking too much for 8 feet!
