Cloning machine problems
I have a power cloner and have used it successfully in the past BUT I'm having problems recently. The water temp is 80 degrees and I'm not getting any roots so I thought that it might be too hot. Is this too hot? I checked my pump and it's not overly hot so that's not the problem. Any suggestions? I've tried adding ice cubes a couple of times a day and that lowers it but not for long.

Have you been sterilizing it between uses?
Are you using Clonex?
Is your Clonex more than about 4 months old?

Yes I sterilized it and I use H & G Root Accelerator (the dutch company). I used EZ Clone gel when doing the initial cutting.

80F is pretty warm- ability of H20 to hold o2 in solution is inverse to temperature.
Move the cloner to a cooler spot.
If this doesn't help, f#$% the root accelerator and start changing the water daily.I assume you understand that we have options on your time,
And we will ditch you in the harbour if we must-
But if it all works out nicely,
You\'ll get the bonus you deserve
From doctors we trust.

Hm, okay.
(Mystery Cloning Machine Failure, known MCMF, is a common and potentially serious condition plaguing cannabis cultivators. Symptoms include lack of roots, loss of patience, and in severe cases, degrade to the machine being used as a decorative doorstop, planter, or lawn ornament... its why I went back to old school stylee, lol.)
Well I hate those freaking things and use rapidrooters with dip-n-grow, $25 for enough supplies to clone 100 cuttings.
You might want to drop your water temps down to 78 but 2 degrees should not make THAT much difference.
How are you prepping your moms?
Are they getting enough calcium and phosphorous? And not much Nitrogen? N inhibits rooting. I prep my moms with bloom fertilizer and a touch of superthrive.
Anyway for better responses you need to provide ALL your conditions, otherwise this thread is going to turn into 20 questions.
Water, air temp
Mom prep
All ferts used on moms within 2 weeks of cutting and cloning shit
Condition of moms
Where the cuts are taken from on the plant
etc.
Be thorough
