gonzo journalismyeah man, thompsons a genius. ever read hells angels? great book, really shows you inside the gang. also fear and loathing on the campaign trails was good, kinda long and boring, but very interesting. the rum diary was one of my favourites, im in the midst of reading vol 1 of the great shark hunt, its got some pretty interesting stories

gonzo journalismYou guys should try some Oscar Zeta Acosta, Hunter S's best friend, whom Benicio Del Toro's character in Fear and Loathing was based on. I suggest Revolt of the Cockroach People.
