teacher wouldn't let me do speech

This was kind of a while ago and when i had to quit smokin pot because of my job obligation (no more obligation so i'm tokin again :rastasmoke but back in spring i was enrolled in a college level speech class while in my senior year in high school...it's a college course but taken when you're in high school to get credits and watnot...anyways at the end we had to give a persuasion speech and i decided to do mine on marijuana decriminalization...at first she was going to let me do it, but then at the last minute after i had already written the entire 10 minute speech (it was so fuckign kick ass) she changes her mind and says it's innappropriate...we fought it to the principal and they still wouldn't let me do it even tho it was a college class...i ended up having to throw together an entire new speech and give it on my last day of high school ever while hung over as shit (hehe)...anybody else think that's fucking bullshit that all my research and hardwork put into my speech was rejected because of biased personal views...i was easilly one of the best speakers in the class but ended up getting a C+ for a final grade...what do ya'll think?

well the fear is since your such a good speaker, you could convince the whole class into smoking weed. although talking about how it should be decriminalized is not so inapropriate.

You just got the wrong teacher- we had students do a pro/con debate on legalization (sadly, I didn't get picked for that topic ) Keep the speech, refine it this summer and take the class ( or similar class) with a different prof! Go for it! - Granny:hippy:

If they would of allowed you to give that speech it would of shown that they failed at brainwashing you. And we cant have that.
