Ok what kind of trip was that...or was it?

Last night was not fun. All evening I was kicking back smoking bowls staying nicely high. About midnight or so I got the big time munchies when out raided the fridge for some food. At 1am stoned out of my mind I wanted to go to bed, as I had work today, so I shut everything off and laid down...almost immediately an odd sensation crept over me and I started getting "twitchy" (my hands and feet randomly and out of my controls start twitching) Now I've occasionally got minor twitches before while high but this got exponentially worse, random parts of my body started..hows the best way to put it rumble/shiver almost like a you are cold shiver but more internal. Eventually the shiver/twitch was all over my body and not just in random spots. And then when the shiver took over my whole body I got sick and puked. After puking, for about 30sec-1min after the shivering completely stopped but then it came back rapidly and once it took over I puked again. This continued for 30min-1hr, then apparently sleep came and I slept until my alarm just woke me up a moment ago. Right now I feel hella drained/weak, and really freaked out. I'm calling in to work today sick. But I don't know what the hell that was....has anything like that happened to anyone?

i had a similar twitching once, no trowing up though, but paranoid as fuck, im not sure why. maybe something you ate?

I get those little twitches like in my arms and legs usually when I smoke some really good herb. You maybe just got too high. I've never vomited from smoking weed though and I've been smoking for 6 years. Sorry I can't really help you out, but yea like Klumsy said, it could have been something you ate, or you just ate too much, I have puked from doing that lol.

Well I hope it was perhaps just a combination of what I ate and perhaps getting too high. I did eat quite a bit that night. earlier in the night I finished off the rest of the chinese food that I had for lunch (about 8pm) and then 4 hours later I grab this huge plate of leftover chicken and fried potatoes and a glass of chocolate milk.

The shaking/rumbling was scary as shit. Laying there shaking all to hell I kept telling myself that if this was just the weed and I was having a bad trip I'd be fine, I wouldn't die or anything. But paranoid thoughts came of perhaps it's not the weed, perhaps something serious is happening and because I'm high it feels stranger than hell and I could be dying from something else. Then I started contemplating yelling for help...but then I started puking and then I was worried they'd come knocking on my door because I was puking. !I remembered my weed was still sitting out and I didn't want to have to explain the MJ to my parents. So even violently shaking and scared to death as I was I managed to get up and hide the weed lol. Though I never yelled for help. Thankfully sleep came...

One thing though, I've never been so happy to puke ever....the instant relief that I momentarily got each time from the violent shaking was so welcome after the shaking returned I wanted to puke again...

The sucky thing is now I sit here hungry and wanting to get high, little wary of doing either one.....

Sounds like a seratonin or dopamine reaction to me, but then I'm not a doctor, just someone's who's been smoking for 28 years. Did you take any other meds, prescription or over-the-counter? Interactions with cannabis aren't common or serious. I had the same reaction when I started taking birth control pills. One bad episode and I was fine after that.
Smoking too much can make you feel this way, too, especially Sativa. I call Haze "Jiggle Weed", cause it makes people move!
Try not to worry about it, just go easy next time. Like Dirty Harry says, "A man's gotta know his limitations." :giveflower:
