I do not agree with they guy in question, but aren't "personal attacks and insulting other members" grounds for infractions and/or banning? There are posts now in that thread that certainly qualify for those actions.

I agree with that assessment, BA. I don't agree with the opinions, but the posts that required the actual moderative actions were different posts. Now I'm going to need to read that entire thread with a fine-tooth pair of eyes, however.
