My first growing box/ cabinet

Hi guys, i want to attempt to build a grow box with my friend who is a carpenter. He's got all the tools and materiels in sense of wood but i need to know what sort of size i need for the ammount i want to grow which is the very maximum of 3. I also need to know what other features i need e.g venting and where the best places are to put the vents.
As you can see i need some help to get started so please reply!

how big is you cab going to be? what size light? Then you will know what size fan you will need. which you would want to place at the top of your cabinet.

Yeah, the question is open to any number of interpretations. Might have a scroll through this section of the forums and see what others are working with and maybe that will help you narrow some specifics down.
