The 2 worst things about bud.
Munchies- Get the groceries BEFORE you get stoned. Buy fruits and veggies, whole grain stuff, cheeses, 100% juices- you know, REAL FOOD! Keep away from junk foods, oils and sugar. As an exercise in economics, figure out the price per pound of that little bag of chips/candy bar/twinkies you'd normally buy! 16 ounces per pound, in case you've forgotten.
Illegal/price- Become an activist! Write to/email your politicians. (They won't know you're still a teen unless you tell them or forget to spell check!) Granny's got an idea for your doctor, too, but that is for the 30th- wait for it!The price will fall rapidly when it is legal!
Tolerance - Take a break!Sorry, I haven't found any way around it.
Running out/price-- find somewhere to grow your own. Move to California?
Trimming- I saw a neat automatic trimming machine once- I think in Skunk Magazine. It can be done- think about it!
Jars- Cooking shops, yard sales, save your mayo jars.
Hiding it from the parents- Not much I can do here. Sorry
People think less of me because I smoke-Show them they are wrong! Do the school work better than ever before. Be kind, compassionate and loving. Let the cannabis bring out the best in you! Then who cares what they think! Individuals make the world interesting! Be yourself, your best self!
