it's been a while so i couldn't tell you in detail (plus there are a lot of steps to it). i could pull out my old biology book, it has very good illustrations of all the steps. if your still interested let me know and i'll try to help you out. i'll start out with what i know about glyclolysis. to start out with it takes 2 atp to break apart glucose. i know that 2 phosphate groups are attached to each pyruvic acid resulting in each forming atp from adp by transferring the phosphate groups. during this process 1 nadh electron carrier is formed from each pyruvic acid. so to sum it up, one glucose molecule and 2 atp goes in and 4 atp, 2 pyruvic acid and 2 nadh go out.
