First grow looking for short plant

Yeah well it's my first time growing and im not trying to go all crazy with like a 6 ft plant i was thinking about lowryder2 because it's so short.(where can i get them?) but it heard it can sometimes only produce as little as 1g. any suggestions on short-ish plants that could fit in Rubbermaid Tub Growbox ???

oh and kind-of off topic but what are some good nutrients for the plant?
