showing sex ?

iv'e read and been told that it takes around 3 to 4 weeks from seed to show sex in veg stage. well mine are almost 5 weeks in and still no sign of sex. no ball clusters no white hairs nothin. now the new leaf sets coming out have a white fuzz on them close to where there coming out at. but no white hairs so what gives can they take longer than 5 weeks? and if so is there a point where it's to far in and they have to show?

Under 24h light, not all strains will give you preflowers that early. It's very strain dependent.
Are your nodes alternating yet? When they start, that's about the time you will have a much better chance of sexing under veg conditions.

Give them more darkness and about 12 hours of light or a little more or less and they will definatetly show sooner or later. You can probably give them 15 hours of darkness each time you switch off the lights for sooner signing. Worked like a charm for me on both plants. They went right into flowering as light schedule changed. You can also give them a fert that is high in the second number.. p? It allows the plant to bloom faster or something.. Bah.

oh ok,when u say, Are your nodes alternating yet?u mean say ur looking at the stalk the left node will be a lil higher than the right side. or right to left either way but one is higher than the other??if so they are not yet.here sum pics so u can see how there 4coming out off the main stalk.


p.s whats the longest you've seen it take to show sex?

Exactly. And as others have said, its a week or two too early for most strains.
