flushing question!!!
im actually planning on using moonshine mix, an all organic soil mix packed with plenty of nutes (respects to evertking) but not planning on adding any extra nutes just transplanting into new pots 3-4 times

flushing question!!!
You still are going to need to feed.
Perferted soil is a pain in the ass IMHO. I like COMPOST, but avoid anything with added nutes like the plague, unless I added them myself in the form of bat guano, bone meal, etc.
And when you flush, where do you think the ferts are going to go? They run right out the bottom and you might as well be using non-fertilized soil.
Plus most of those mixes are too strong for seedlings. Start in something more gentle like happy frog of a generic seedling mix.

flushing question!!!
Good call Stinky - I personally love Happy Frog, just finishing my first grow with it, start to finish. Didnt have any problems with the seedlings in it either, generally a pretty good soil. Plus I found the bag really interesting to read, about the frogs in the rainforest and whatnot

a good rule of thumbs is flush is flush once a month 3-4 times the volume of the container.........but everyone is different. if you push your plants with more nutes then you may have to do it sooner than a month.......the bottome line, keep an eye on them and learn what to look for in terms of the signs of toxic levels of buildup
