Lately I've noticed a lot of people here live with their parents, and their parents are unaware of the wonders of Mary-Jane. So heres my guide to smoking up and not getting busted for it...
The Setup.
The key to getting away with smoking pot is the way you have your setup. I'm going to focus on the bedroom because it's a common location to burn.
Utilities - this would be your stash, your smoking device, lighter, all that jazz
Keep them close to you and easy to grab, not to GET, but to PUT BACK if you have to in a hurry. Make sure this place is safe from objects that could break or fall because I've had to put my bong down very quick a few times. Find a place like this on each end of your room, for convenience.
The Air - Keep a window or two open in your room with fans on BEFORE the session, keep the air moving around. You also want to keep body spray and/or air freshener around JUST IN CASE, you shouldn't have to use it in normal situations, as it can cause suspicion, if you have a small fan you can stick in the window thats great.
Prepare - Turn on some music or the TV, get some background noise going to cover up the lighter sound and whatnot. Pop in and see what your parents are up too, if they are walking around wait for them to settle somewhere. Grab a drink from the fridge. Head off to your room for the hit and shut the door.
The Hit - The key thing people screw up here is they forget that ANY smoke causes smell, so burning a fat blunt, BAD IDEA. Grab yourself a bong or a pipe if you can. Make sure the bowl you pack is broken up decently so you can get a good easy hit. Light that lighter, start the hit slow and smooth so you don't cough, make sure it doesn't cherry, if it does, cover the bowl and keep hitting until it puts out the bud. with the hit inside you check the pipe, no smoke coming off it? GOOD, set the pipe down in your secret spot.
After The Hit - Once you have the hit in you walk to the window you left open, make sure the fan is blowing outside, blow that hit into the back of the fan so it gets sucked to the front and out the window. Take a deep breath in through your nose and out your mouth, take a nice drink of whatever you got before you went into your room.
The Actions
To keep suspicion off of you just remember these key things...
- Don't go off and smoke mass amounts of chronic and come back, sure sign of being baked. Take it hit at a time, after each little bit make an appearance so they don't come see what your up too.
- Going to that fridge and munching out hardcore is a bad idea. Parents who have smoked pot or know about it will likely assume the worst. Grab a light snack and head to the TV or computer or something.
- If your rents casually walk into your room while you are somewhere else in the house, DO NOT ask questions, that just shows you have something to hide, and as long as you keep your shit in a good place they wont see it.
