Yep, happening here in Canada too. With Peter Whitmore...he abducted two boys, tied them on leashes, and raped them repeatedly for days before authorities located and rescued the kids. Now, he has accepted a plea bargain, which will guarantee that he not be deemed a dangerous offender(which in Canada sometimes means you cannot get out of jail...for the rest of your life). So they made a deal with this guy, and he will now be eligible for parole within 6 years. Oh, and he also has an extremely high risk of reoffending.

For want of a translator, the charges are dropped (Rape) that was from yesterday, just heard on my local news a few minutes ago he is offically let go... the prossecutors are filling an appeal... just fucking unbeleivable to me....
