Just Topped Plants...How long til 12/12?

Ok so i topped a few of my plants yesterday because i wanted them to bush a little better...how long should i wait for the plants to heal up before switching to 12/12 in order to get the healthiest plants...a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks? i'm unsure because last time (1st grow) i topped one and switched to 12/12 and the stems were very thin and my yield got crushed...how long after topping a plant can one begin flowering so that yield is increased not decreased?

I give mine 10-14 days to push out the new under growth / new growth tips = colas , then switch to 12/12 . I have pretty quick growth in DWC / Drip hydro though . What medium are you growing in ? How many watts ? Nutes etc... ?

The plants will never heal you just cut the top off. The plants are going to be in shock for 3-5 days. If u want bushy plants you should supercrop them the whole time they are in veg. 3-5 days before you decide to flip them to 12/12 also lollypop them next time. For now just grow them untill they are 25-50% of the hight you want them to finnish at then flip them.

well i'm growing in soil (MG organic)...using 400watt MH and have been laying of the nutes because most of the grow are Mandala Hashberries (which require little to no nutes in veg.)...everything is growing vigorously...i topped 2 a week ago and they bushed so well i had to top the other 5...gonna give em two weeks to heal up and its FLOWER time

Have waited as little as a week, but I think you should wait 12-15 days just to make sure especially if you are new to this. Best of luck friend.

Bad information.
They will heal and start new growth.
You need to wait longer than 5 days to switch.
There must be some good new vigorous growth at the nodes.
I give at least 2 weeks for that growth to develop before flipping.

now i'm beginning to have a problem...i shouldn't have topped em because my other plants which are growing vigorously are now up to 18in. tall but my mandala hashberries which i just topped are only 10 in. the problem is if i wait two more weeks half my plants will be far too large...i've started bending em over and pinched the stems so they lean a little...not sure if i should just switch the light and take my losses with the recently topped plants or should i wait and try to manage the height of the other plants for a few days...the plants 18in. are Nirvana 2 White Widow, 2 Ak-48's and 2 Bubblegum, 2 KC Sweat Dreams and 2 Hashberries...the 5 i topped are Hashberry and are 10in...what would you do? half the crop is tall and the other half is medium height? Stinky what would you do?

Chopstick in dirt. Hair clip (or duct tape, whatever) on chopstick. Bend plant. Clip to chopstick. Voila, your canopy is even again.
