    READING

If you want to read but find it boring then read something you enjoy. I got into reading by going for horror and battles. As much blood and sex as possible. What really got me enjoying reading was books by Irvine Welsh. Trainspotting is a classic with the main character being a heroin user amongst other things.

    READING

Reading is amazing, and I love, love, love it. But it kills me that teachers and parents of young children don't nurture it in children from the earliest moment and help foster that love. I also find it hard to forgive traditional school curriculae, which so often forces school-aged kids to read and write about stuff they don't give a lick about and turns them off on reading and writing instead of helping draw them in by letting them explore the subjects and topics that interest them personally. I'm convinced we'd have a very different level of adolescent and adult literacy and educational interest if kids were allowed a bit more curricular freedom early on.
