Harder to pull through perced bong?

Hey guys i don't post here frequently but had i quick question, i just purchased a bong with two percs, on top of a diffused down stem and , i feel like it is harder to take a drag and requires a lot more lung pressure to pull the smoke? is this a simple consquence of percs or is it the bong?

Bongs generally require a bit more lung power to pull the air and the smoke through the water. I find it pays off big when you get that chamber nice and cloudy and that smoke is nice and cool.

sometimes i find if u get far too much water in the bottom perc it can become increasingly more difficult to get a fat hit... even if u fill it up correctly initially watch out cause if it has an ice catch the melting ice will just fill it up eventually

btw my bong also is double perc

thanks how much do you think i should fill up also, do you feel like it takes more lung pressure to suck through a bong with percs, compared to one without?

hmm i would say u want about 1/3 of the bottom perc chamber full of water if its a little more it wont be much worse when it gets to about 3/4 full is when i do an adjustment... and as far as more lung pressure... maybe but not much... i think that has to do much more with the actual size of the piece... sometimes it just takes a bit of time to learn to be a pro with a new piece... when i first started out with my bong i couldnt get the ridiculously awesome rips i can get now so just give urself some time to familiarize urself and your lungs with ur new equipment and u'll be killing it soon...
