A lesson from the veterans - joint rolling

Well, Ive been smoking with my rents lately....and they've been tellin me about how all they smoked was joints back in the day...so they had tons of practice rolling them

and I was thinking about how today....not many kids roll joints...and I had never seen a joint rolled better than the ones my parents can do...

anyways my mother taught me a method that actually instantly improved my joint rolling...



First of all she folds the bottom half of the paper up about a quarter to the top (not FROM the top)

then she takes the sides and kind of folds them inwards to make a pocket
(this is where the pot goes)

after that....go along the joint shaping rolling the paper up and down to shape the pot into a cylinder ...this makes the roll easier

then just roll it up and ur done

yup that works really well its how i roll

All I had to do was watch my parents roll a couple and I instantly knew how to roll perfect. You might not believe it but when I rolled my first freehand rolled joint it turned out perfect cone shaped and everything.

What I/they/we do is i just put the paper down fill it up with a good ground up mix, pick it up and just roll the paper up and down until the weed it kinda packed into a good joint shape, tuck the fold closest to you under the other, roll it up so just the sticky side is up, lick and press and there you go a perfect joint.

Yeah i seen that method being used before. Ive not really tried it though.

Yup, that's how I have always rolled, too. I was not as fortunate as you to get to have my parents teach me though, lol, that is awesome. I have a feeling my daughter will not be a toker and so we may never get that bonding experience when she's older, but who knows, right.

yo i am so glad your parents taught u that. that is straight old school. i am 16 and i have been rolling for 2 years. learned similar method from my nieghbor (31). now i got my own style but it is a great way to learn
