Few Questions from first time grower.

Hi im a first time grower and new member i have a few questions and any advice would be much appriciated:

Whats the recommended time for leavin your plants in VEG , because ive read up and people leave them for months and others for one month, is the longer you leave them in Veg the better they will produce?

Does anybody have any tips on cooling your grow room down ? i have intake and out-take fans, only small ones, i have a normal fan aswell , but when its a very hot day i can tell the plant suffers and droops but it will then perk back up.

Any advice would be great

depends on if they are seeds or clones. clones can start of with flowering since they are portions of other older plants. for maturity from seeds an average would probably about 6-8 weeks. they will be bigger so they will produce more, depends on the amount of room you have too.

usually leave them in veg until they show sex wich could take up to 6 weeks, then you can remove any males and clone the females at this time if you wanted to.
a longer veg time just results in a larger plant that has the potential to yield more if it were outside under the sun or in a growroom setup with multiple lights both over the canopy and side lighting that could flower large plants well.
but most grow rooms with 1 light hanging over the canopy are designed to flower smaller and more compact plants more efficiently and the use of clones with a short veg time of 1-3 weeks is usually more effective than growing from seed.
