    Other Pungent Plants

Well, in addition to my love of the cultivation of cannabis, I also think it's fun to grow other plants (I'm in the process of growing huge amazing tomatoes, I had one that ripened, and it was honestly the sweetest tomato I've ever had).

I was thinking that an alternative method to odor control using carbon filters, and ozone generators, etc... would be to simply grow another strong smelling plant that is easy and/or fun to grow along with cannabis in hopes it would over power the cannabis smell, or mix together, so it's not as noticeable.

So, has anyone actually done this, in order to neutralize the odor? If so, what plants did you find best, that give off a strong odor (preferably pleasant, lol)?

    Peace,

Rosemary in your grow room will make your whole house smell good. It is a BEAST for aromatic oil production, and LOVES the hot, dry conditions in a growroom. Keep it well watered in very very light soil - like 50% perlite in compost.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to go to the local garden store in a few and hope they have some!

Quarantine it first for a week and spray for bugs even if you don't see any.

Good idea. Thanks for reminding me of that. My last grow, I had a close call with fungus gnats because of a tomato I had in my room. Luckily, once I moved it outside, the problem went away.
