I am Jewish (both parents) and I oppose. The actions of Zionist pieces of shit are one of the biggest reasons people like to hate on us. Modern day Israel is a racist apartheid state which can only be described as a disgrace to my people.

Yahweh did not intend for anyone to die simply so my people could return to Israel. Also, too many idiots 'convert' and then all of the sudden they pretend like they are one of god's chosen....it does not work that way folks.

I also do not read or accept the Talmud.

Of course people have the right to live...
But it just isnt going to work out unless all of the Muslims are removed from the area. I am very much opposed to hurting or displacing other people simply because it's our land as you put it. As a Tora believing Jew, I believe that the earth is for all of god's children and land is not something to kill for unless you are being ran off of it which seems to be the case over there right now.

How do you think it makes me feel to know that many people around the world will judge guys like me because of things like the 'security wall' being built to keep Moslems out. It makes me sick.

I have never met an atheist who said that Israel belonged to the Jewish people, and most people who think that way scare me. The Molsems of the world believe that it is theirs as well and IMO if we can not learn to share the land, then the result will be wars which will never end.

Not trying to flame you....just wondering why an atheist would agree with the religious idea of the land which is now called Israel belonging to the tribe.

First off I don't live in Israel, that is just the flag I fly on cc.com and my arm.

One day I would like to be able to bring my wife and kids to Israel but it scares me that something "could" go wrong. I would very much like to see peace in Israel. I just wish opposing sides could just treat their Holy Lands like a Holy Land and not bring violence to it no matter what the conflict is.

not sure who "their" is referring too because Israel is just as holy to the Muslims as the Jews and Christians, especially the West Bank where the fighting always is going on.

the state of israel was created to assuage the world's guilt over the attempted elimination of the jews at the hands of the third reich. it's really nothing more than the post world war 2 equivalent of forty acres and a mule. the jewish homeland was created thanks to the climate of the times, their collaboration with the occupying british presence and a tenuous claim based on little more than mythology and cobbled together bits of ancient history.

following its creation, the iraeli authority used any means to rid itself of any unwanted inhabitants of the area in order to make room for a flood of refugees from various unfriendly nations. populated to a great extent by those fleeing persecution in the soviet union and eastern europe and supported by aid from the west, their sins were widely overlooked. amidst the paranoia of the cold war they thrived and slowly grew to become the strong arm of the west in the midst of a culture that western minds couldn't quite seem to grasp.

my neutrality concerning israel is nearly complete, but considering that the nation was born of guilt, bred on fear and has used nearly terrorist tactics in order to survive, i can't help but be suspicious.
