im just starting my first indor grow and i have a Grow-Lux light it says its made for plant lighting anyone ever use one and have good results?

Tried 'em for a week or so, and there was little growth during that time. The growth went nuts after I replaced them with daylight bulbs.

From what I understand, gro-lux are wide spectrum with both reds and blues, just not enough of each for either veg or flowering by themselves. But I think you can use them in veg along with cools or daylights to get some reds, and in flower along with warms or hps to get some blues.

I may be wrong, but that's my understanding of it...

ok thanks i have some CFLs to would a combo of both hurt the plants?
