fans on timers

can anyone tell me how often my fans sould kick on, and for how long? i have a 400 wtt mh in a area about 8x8x8 i have 20 plants and two e-z clone 120 (no clones yet):thumbsup:

I don't know what fans you are talking about but if you are talking about oscillating fans it'd be good to leave them on during the entire period of the lights being on. If you're talking about exhaust fans and such I dunno, never used em.

plants like fresh air ...and a breeze makes the stalks stronger....so whether it's exhaust fans or circulation fans I run them for as long as I can w/out causing temperature issues.If I was runnin co2 I would run the exhaust as lil as possible.

my fans prop run %85-90 of the time. As heat is always an issue.

I have my fan on a thermostat, not a timer. It cost me $16 at Lowe's. It kicks on a lot during the day and when the light is on.
