That yellowish color is organics from the peat. Do a pH test on it! Betcha it's WAAAAAAY low.

I had this plant in the vegetative state for about 2 months now and just started the 12/12 cycle a few days ago. A little history, I first started the plant off in soil then later on transplanted it in a 50/50 mix of Pete Moss and Perlite. The plant seemed to have adapted well to the transplant and started growing nicely. This was about a month ago. Now I have this plant in those bowls were you don't have to water the top, just put water in Rating: 5
