Would like to start a small grow, outside.

I barely know anything about plant genetics or growing or anything along those lines. But I think I've decided I want to start a small grow of maybe a couple plants in the woods behind my house. It's in a residential suburban area. I think it's risky in that sense. But I don't have to worry about any DEA choppers overhead. It's not a very big wooded area...but I think it will do without other human contact. I'm just ranting....

but what I would like to know is

Does this sound like a good easy way to get started in the trade?

I'm planning on using some bag seed.

I dont know much about outdoor growing but I believe it's to late in the year to start right now ... It would prob be a good idea to start outside to get some exp
but you can finish a crop due to time of the year unless you live in a place with a very warm climate ... I could be very wrong here so someone correct me if I am

Growing bag seed is not worth it, and if you plant 2 both might turn out male... Still good for exp, read the grow bible, what state are you from?

It's too late for this year in the northern hemisphere.
But outdoors depending how far north you are you will have to be sure to get a fast flowering strain- the further north you live the earlier the frost date.
Outdoors is cool especially if you have a small indoor area to get seedlings off to a good start.

Yeah I was worried about the timing....I would plant it in the next week most likely......

But I guess I'll have to wait till early next summer....

Oh and by the way....I'm all the way up in Western New York as far north as possible before lake Ontario. So it's not a good idea to start growing now. SHIT Bummer.
