Seeds I find off bud?

I have enver even attempted to grow my own bud, I've always bought it or had friends who grow it. But I found a very large quantity of seeds on some sugar crisp I got yesterday. I really like this kind of bud, are the seeds that you find on harvested bud growable?

Yeah they might work they might not. You'll want to do some research on how to grow first. If your unsure of your ability you can always put the seeds in a baggie and keep them until you've done more research.

bagseed can be some of the best weed. but it can also be the worst. it all depends on the bud it came from and why it made seeds. good luck and i would grow it out.

Not a lot of point growing bud from seeds found in bud. to start with there most l likely hermaphrodite 2ndly there most likely going to be immature and prone to disease.

BAD ADVICE ... (pure horseshit, to be exact) ...

bagseed is exactly what you should be growing, to learn the ropes ... matter of fact, you will probably find bagseed will grow much easier than the high-dollar strains ... tends to be much less 'finicky' ... I would give anything to have those small, round, Columbian Gold seeds that used to clutter my Baggie in the 60's ... go for it ! :thumbsup:

Seeds in bud are very growable.
I started on bagseeds from high quality stuff my friend had- every so often he'd find a couple seeds in a zip and save them for me- I bred the ones I liked and when I got some good afghan genetics, added those to the mix. I don't have a herm problem either.

Immature? You have to judge the maturity of ANY seed- yes, I've gotten seeds from PURCHASED seed packs that weren't fully mature. Plump brown seeds are mature.

I donâ??t see how thatâ??s bad advise most seeds in bud are immature as there picked a few weeks be4 the seeds are ready. Most of the seeds will be hermaphrodite which for a new comer is not ideal. Most seeds from bud will be prone to disease if immature. If the seeds happen to be ripe than go for it. If its your 1st grow and you want to get the hang of things try buying some lowryder as it will allow you to walk the ropes much better than seeds found in a bud. I think horse shit is a little strong as I was only trying to help.

you could do some searches for bagseed grows and see some of the results for your self theres alot of nice grows on here from bagseed

Ripeness of the seeds in bud simply depends on how early in the grow pollination took place. Furthermore, seeds will continue to ripen after harvest if left on the plant.
