Bush logic
Yes it is purely hypothetical.
The point is if I thought like Bush then I would be exonerated from blame because the guy could be seen as "a potential threat" and my actions would be seen as a "pre-emptive strike" for the good of mankind.
Bush's logic.
It's about the use of logic not so much the burglar .
