Got a light question
What lighting would you suggest in a 3X8 space?
Better question....is 2 1000w overkill? I know its nice, but consider electric cost.SeedlessOne Reviewed by SeedlessOne on . Got a light question What lighting would you suggest in a 3X8 space? Better question....is 2 1000w overkill? I know its nice, but consider electric cost. Rating: 5

Got a light question
Typical recommended light is 400-500 watts per square meter. 1 square meter is really close to ten square feet.
2 600-watt lights seems appropriate.

Got a light question
Well the reason I ask is because I have 2 1000w in there now. I think it might be a little over kill. Thinking about buying a light mover and using just a 1000w. Anyone had any exp. with light movers? Will a 1000w on a light mover cover my area?

Next to nothing, so it would be better to not pretend. Offering bad advice can fuck up someone's grow and is frowned upon.

Got a light question
Well, if heat and electrical usage aren't a problem, and your plants aren't showing signs of burning, you'd probably be best off sticking with the two lights you have. If you're worried, you can always move them up higher, provided you have enough room. But I think that as long as you can deal with that much heat, your plants will do very well, and the increased electrical cost might even pay for itself.
