South African Durban Poison x Skunk #1

This is what has happened to 3 out of 5 of them! One had a taproot appear i have that one in soil right now and one never cracked at all. All of the rest did as the picture shows. When the rest crack (if they crack) should i just put them in soil even if no tap root appears.

I always advise to 'mimic nature' ... nature doesn't pre-soak, or have access to paper towels ... we do those things to give the seed a 'headstart' on absorbing moisture, nothing more ... stick 'em in the dirt where they belong ... if the taproot emerges, it will do so, regardless of whether or not, you're watching ... taproots and roots are killed by light, not a good idea to prolong its exposure ... :smokin:

Damn you lucky sob, lol! The one that i put in the soil has yet to pop through the soil so i'm guessing it wont pop. It shouldnt take a week to emerge i dont think?! I've started the papaya so i dont really have the room for the durban poison x skunk but i'll just try to germ them they probably wont pop anyway but if they do i guess i'll just have to do a guerilla grow!imp:

I too got the 10 freebies of Durbon Poison with my Hawaiian Snow..all were duds except for one, which is exactly what yours is doing...I waited 2 weeks for it with no results..these seeds which many have posted havent germinated all must be really old or past their prime as someone should have had some better results if not...Seedboutique could/should do better than that...Come on!!

    Peace,

oh man this is sounding like a big time bummersky. i just got a freebie pack i was hoping for some dank nuggets not some problem child seeds! I'm going to soak in water (with filtered water with very trace amounts of superthrive, liquid karma and peroxide) overnight, without looking at any of them or worrying about taproots i'm going to put them in wet paper towel in a plastic bag on a germination heating pad with a layer of cardboard in between check on them till i see little roots then strait into rockwool and soil
(I know it might not be "natural" to use heating pads, paper towels, liquid karma, superthrive and shit like that but hell we're doing all this indoors, that ain't natural we might as well try to do everything without harming the organism to ensure success and health, hell i'd give them crushed up flinstones vitamins if it would help)
