    using a cheese grater!

    For a while i wanted to try using one of those tiny cheese graters instead of my grinder, and earlier this week i finally saw them in the store. Brought one home and tried it out straightaway.

    Great improvement! I took it initially to just have an alternative on the grinder, but it turned out there was a bonus. Instead of turning your hash into powder it turns it into little curly bits. So what? Well, if you grate a lot of it, there is a lot of air between all the little curly bits, which makes it all burn a lot quicker and hotter, and it seems to hit harder with all that stuff.

    Of course you can only use it if the chunk is still big enough to hold between your fingers, so when you're running low it's back to the grinder....
