licking the blunt is everything. lick it before you cut it. lick the edges of the cut after you cut it. this will help outside layers stick to inside layer. try to use your tongue to force some spit in between the edges of the layers. once you're skilled, pull out the filter at this stage. tear off the stiff factory end of the blunt. this end has the filter in it and tastes like crap when smoked. licking the whole leaf after you split and empty it will make it more flexible but more soft. depends on how you like it. put the weed in. one thing that helped me as a beginner (ima pro now) was rolling half the blunt at a time. tighten and stick the first half. make a little tear around (not down, and not ALL THE WAY around) the blunt, just enough to free up the unstuck paper form the stuck paper; between the stuck half and unstuck half. carefully adjust weed inside the blunt if necessary to make a straight roll with no tight/lose spots. tighten the second half as you would a joint and stick it. quickly dry blunt with lighter and enjoy.
