is it a better idea to exhaust threw into the attic or into the chimney stack by removing a few bricks or using a hole saw???

i dunno, im having an exhaust problem too, i have nowhere to cut or vent to so i think im just going to vent into another room for heat in the cold cold room...this winter that is....

If you ever use or plan to use your chimney, I'd certainly go with the attic. If your worried about it getting stinky, just remember, in the summer the air in the attic is HOT. As the heat becomes greater in the attic, than the outside air, there is a pressure differential created. So.....what I'm trying to get to is, the attic air will always want to escape out through the gable vents on the end of most houses. The sink gets released slowly into the outside air.

i think i gonna stick with exhausting through the chimney as i am taking out the fire in the kitchen where the chimney stack comes from...it seems the easier option for me
