Timer schedule
Apparently it's mostly an opinion type thing. Last grow I did an 18/6 from sprout all way up to 12/12 for flowering. This time I started off with a 24/0 on my seedlings and haven't even got my timer set yet. But can't decide to go 18/6 or maybe even 19/5. This is a matter of opinion I think, whether to go 24/0 or 18/6. I know Latewood likes 18/6 to give the plants less stress. My two week old babies are thriving at 24/0 and will definitely grow slower if I switch to 18/6. Can I get some opinions?

I've tried them both and I think my plants prefer the 18/6 with some dark period. I didn't find any great growing difference and my plants DO seem less stressed with the 18/6 and generally seem to do better.
I'm sure you are right about different opinions though.

this is an ongoing argument, and probably nothing anyone says is going to change your mind ... you already think going to 18/6 will slow down your grow ... I've never witnessed faster growth when I've experimented with 24/0 ... I grow with 18/6 ... it's your plant, do whatever you want with it ... but, this topic has just been beaten to death, :beatdeadhorse:

I don't like 24/0 I have found that it just causes the plant to grow too fast! and you end up with a weak center stalk that can't support the abundance of leaves
