    Sharpshooters!!

thats funny.. youre right I am pretty sure I know WHY they go to AG college.

I have done a little research as to what plants would be threatened by
sharpshooters and, of course, pot is not listed. Most likely that nobody
has stepped up and said 'they effected my Bull-rider crop of ott six'
there are many listed and I get a creepy feeling that they might be bad..

Good news is that I used Azatrol and basically picked them off by hand
and I have not seen very many since, but I am afraid they lay eggs or
something I dont think I want to use my babies as a nest for these guys.
I guess I am worried about the next few weeks because they are obviously
beginning to bud and dont want anything out of the ordinary. I have
    too much time invested.

    Sharpshooters!!

    Bugspot -- Frequently Asked Questions

it talks about traps for them that you can put in your backyard. by reading information on them, they don't seem very safe, to even take chances with. It seems like they could destroy your crop.

    Sharpshooters!!

    Thanks for finding that page.
Again, pot is not listed as a threatened plant.. but like I said
nobody stepped up to the plate to say anything about their dope
    being infested.

I am keeping a close eye on my plants.
I dont want to destroy them. I dont want these
bugs to destroy them either. I just want to smoke
these plants like I am supposed to.

Would a mantis or assassin wasp help?

Well according to that site, you're supposed to call if you find one, and then they are supposed to come out and look at your yard. If you decline, they will ask your neighbors to look at their yards. Then, they can try to get a court summon to look at your yard. Apparently those things are pests, and no one wants them in their counties, so maybe it's best if you don't tell anyone about those sharpshooters, if you don't want your garden being discovered.

    Sharpshooters!!

these days, you may consider yourself lucky, if they don't tell you the Sharpshooter is an "endangered species", and, you will have to tear your home down to the ground, and truck away the topsoil ... :wtf:

    Sharpshooters!!

I am just going to hope for the best.. I also heard they are rare which makes me feel even more uneasy when I catch one and
crunch it between my finger and thumb
I dont rreally like doing that. It is out of my character

Apart from that, things are looking good. I seldom see them and the more
I hear about them the less I want to alert any authority especially about something
I do in my spare time.
