Sharpshooters!!
I live in So Cal.
Can anyone tell me the detriment of sharpshooters when it
comes to weed?
I think I have them under control but I am concerned
of what they might have done so far.
I used Azatrol and even picked them off myself.
This is the first time I have seen them in my yard.
I dont know how much damage they may have already
caused. I know they have ruined grape crops before here in
California.. but as far as pot is concerned it is a little
more difficult to go right out and ask a stranger..
Has anyone had to deal with these before?

The Glassy-winged Sharpshooter.
It is a flying bug. A leafhopper. About 1/2 inch long.
There is no reference to it in our way of life.
They must be rare, therefore more would know of them.
Believe me guys, I am just finding out about them too.

I have heard of the insect before, but not in relation to marijuana ... at least in my part of Cali, I would suspect it is a non-issue ... you could always phone up your county agriculture agent, somene like that ... have an AG college nearby ? ... :smokin:

yeah.. when you are a grower.. it is a little difficult to call the local
AG college and say "there are sharpshooters on my backyard project.. I am
growing .. um . . er... do you have caller ID?"
I bet I can ask in a round a bout way. There happens to be an AG college nearby
and it is the nearest college to me out of the many.. just a little touchy as far
as content of conversation you know..
