Hi Mom, This is Granny. I'm an old hippie who's been toking for 40 years and am a " California legal" medical user. I try to keep the kids out of trouble with sensible advise. I'm so glad you are being calm about this.

Since your son has asthma, I strongly advise that you get him a vaporizer. They are FAR easier on the lungs and do not deliver the more harmful components that smoking does. He will also use about 1/3 less with a vaporizer. Vaporizing smells far less than smoking, which is a good thing.

In addition, with a vaporizer, you will know where he is when he's using. It's not like a little pipe that he can stash in a pocket for some "out of home" indulging. My adult sons don't use cannabis, but if they were under-aged, I know I'd prefer to have them using ONLY at home! The vaporizer ties his use to home. He is much more likely to remain unbusted if he only uses at home.

I hope the abstracts I gave your son have helped you understand that cannabis is not the demon drug that our government has made it out to be. It is a medicine for healing or treating SO many diseases. Asthma is just the tip of the iceberg. Cannabis is safer than aspirin, yet it can fight cancer, MS, and a host of other diseases!

A Vapor Brother's Hands-free (or any of the knock-offs of that type) would be the best way to go. They are under $150 and are a good buy- efficient, compact, well made. Cannabis smoke will clog up the lungs. A vaporizer cleared up 40 years worth of cannabis tars and smoke from my lungs in just two weeks! It was amazing how much difference it made! I don't want your son coughing due to inhaling smoke! My husband has asthma and I know how that can go!

I know that a vaporizer sounds expensive, but they are worth every penny! Since your son has discovered that cannabis is an effective bronchodialator, I doubt if he will stop using this pleasant medicine. By the way, he needs to work on his spelling- otherwise, he seems like a really good kid. - Granny

Is your room acceptably clean? Have you washed the dishes lately- without being asked? Vacuumed? Mowed the lawn? If she asks what going on, just say "I got stoned yesterday and got to thinking how ______ bugged me and decided I was going to do something about it today! No big deal." (Helps if you can keep a straight face! )

If there is a special day (birthday, anniversary) or just "cause I love and appreciate you", give her a single rose- most florists have them for a couple bucks. Remember to say please and thank you! All that little stuff you know you should do, but often don't. The idea is to make Mom feel that cannabis is IMPROVING you! :thumbsup:

not back in school yet but i was smoking and making As and Bs and im in honors classes so she will see how i can smoke and do good in school lol. O yea get this shes letting me grow got a setup in my room. we went to the harware store to buy a door knob well i bought a black light and a regular bulb the when she saw it she said go get the right light that one wont grow weed lol i just smiled and got a new bulb
