A gallon per foot of main stem. That means if the plant was topped young and is very bushy, it would like a larger pot than it's sister who is a bud-on-a-stick but the same height.

I understand my yield will suffer if I don't... but I might not have a choice. Not too sure yet. I'm growing bag seed that looks to be heavy or completely indica. The plants get about 10 hours or so of direct natural sunlight outdoors. How tall can I expect them to get if they stay in the one gallon pots? Rating: 5
