going on a trip. help?

I am going on a trip to Amsterdam. and i was wondering if anyone had been in any good coffee shops.I kno of a few people who have been there but i had never ment to ask. How do you ask for the bud if you want some? Do they know english? or what? i mean i dont think they would. but if anyone knows can someone help me out?

Most of the Dutch people speak English. The coffee shops have menus with the varieties of weed listed. I do not remember the names of the coffee shops I went to, other that the Green House, which was a good place.

Everyone there speaks English very well. You'll have no trouble finding a coffee shop (not a cafe; those are for actual coffee), but steer clear of the ones in the tourist areas. You should be able to find a chill one if you look a little off the beaten path.

Enjoy. Amsterdam is beautiful. The Anne Frank House was something too. Very sad, but important.

Will... you'll absoluely love it there. Don't worry about the 'English' thing, it's like everyone' second language. The only thing I might add: go slow, admire the taste, variety and gorgeous surroundings. Hope you're going with someone special...B

Im mean giving tips like for money or to your watress is alot of times frowned upon, gratuity is usualy include with the price of things. as coffeshops go Barneys, PinkFloyd, I realy like um I for get but theirs a space ship and space alins inside (the alien place is closed some times outta the year dough), Just about everybody speaks english and be nice cause being very abnoxious American is also frowned upon their. best place to echange money I think is the central station at the noth end of Amsterdam. like some one said ask for a menu and some places have specials, Like when I was their the bluegass hash was like 25 a gram when all othes close to that potency were like 40- 60a gram. prepare for euro echange to be insane it like 7 euro to every 11 dollars usualy even more like 13dollars, but the central had a good exchange. expect herb to be about 20 euro for an 1/8 of killer and expect too see alot of smokers mixing there herb with tobacco. also food can be weird and expensive so I recomend going to a grocer and getting a room with a fridge(most doo).imp:imp:imp:
