Would a peanut butter and jelly sandwich work?

One of my friends (A 55 year old hippy:hippy told me that if mixed about 6 grams of good weed in with just a plain old pb&j sandwich, that it would get me pretty high.

Seeing as how the only recipes on this site involve lots of cooking/heat/fatty solutions, I'm sort of suspicious about his recipe.

Does eating raw weed work? Is all the cooking/extracting in the other recipes just to make it taste better, or is it the only way to get high eating something?

sorry for the double post but I need to mention some things.

The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to a Rush concert in Dallas (8-11-07 yeah!) with an old high school friend who is hardcore Christian and very much against any drugs.

He's the one who is going to be driving and the trip is 2-2.5 hours so I figure I would eat the recipe on the way there so it would hit me right as the concert started.

I plan on using about 10 grams of very exotic stuff ($25/gram from a good reliable friend).

I am willing to do some cooking if mixing raw weed and peanut butter won't work, but I need a recipe that could fit all ten grams into one serving or two at the most! (My friend would get suspicious if he saw me eat a whole tray of brownies as opposed to a sandwich lol!)

I've been looking at posts on this site for half a week now, and the opinions on whether raw weed will get you high or not is pretty divided, but everyone seems to agree that cooking WILL get you high.

So I guess what I need is a simple recipe that is inconspicuous and can fit a large amount of weed into a small medium or two. Taste is not important to me, I could choke anything down if it would get me high!

1 gram is enough if you use natural peanut (no hydrogenated oils) and heat it in the oven.

Umm this is going to sound retarded but I have little to no kitchen knowledge.

Do I toast the bread and then put on the peanutbutter and weed or do I prepare the sandwich and then toast it in my oven using the broil mode?

Grind up a gram (if you think you can handle that much) really fine, then mix into peanut butter and bake at 320 F for 22 minutes

put pb on bread, bust up around a g maybe a bit more on the pb, and put the other side of the sandwich on top. then heat it up around 375 for like 5 min and youll be good

Awesome!! How much of a time frame do I have to eat it after it comes out of the oven? Would it still be potent, say 5 hours later (In case i want seconds )

I don't think it is going to work. I saw what people told you but read this about firecrackers and apply the knowledge to your sandwich.

Flaws include the bread possibly absorbing too much of the oil from the peanut butter and not cooking long enough.

I think you are better off making firecrackers and then putting another cracker on top after it cools. You may also want to make a cannabutter recipe and use that somehow, maybe mixing it into the peanut butter or a grilled cheese and butter the inside of the bread, something. I guess brownies isn't a good single serving recipe but always a possiblity. But you also talk about using 10 grams so brownies may be the way to go. You might have to make two batches, one spiked and one not in case your buddy asks for a brownie.
