I cut the lower branches off to save space,encourage alternate growth,and too avoid manicurin them lil pocorn buds that are hardly worth trimmin.

at what point did you cut off the lower branches? (stage / week)

1-2 weeks before 12-12 ....any time should be ok w/healthy plants tho.

so theres no disadvantages to trimming lower branches? do you trim like 3-4 inches from the bottom? or just the fan leaves or somethin....?:wtf:

I trim off the weakest branches,the skinny lil guys that are too short to reach the canopy yea prolly 5-6" up the stalk ....each plant is different ....its not an exact science it's an educated calculation.
