Broken Bong Slide

Well yesterday we were hitting my bong and my stoner ass friend broke my slide when he pulled it through. It was a clean break, right where the bowl curves to the straight slide. I have posted a picture of it, along with a picture of my bong for the hell of it (Comments on the piece is welcome) Well any help on what I can use to glue the two pieces back together? I wouldn't want something that would melt with the heat of the lighter or else :stoned: :hippy: off to heaven. Help appreciated.

Well theres the problem, me being a jobless hippie, I don't have much cash. And the cheapest slides around here are $20 for a clear one, and almost $30 for a coloured one. I would much rather spend $20 on a half quarter and blaze with my broken slide (works but you have to hold it there the whole hit):jointsmile: Any recommendations? I was thinking model cement on the outside of the glass so it wouldn't heat up too much, suggestions?

You can try Epoxie. Or however you spell it. It works, but I wouldn't want to smoke and epoxie. Drys fucking instantly almost. Your local hardware store should have some. I'd personally just buy a new bowl though.

Nice bong, and I think you should just cut your losses and but a new slide. I know it sucks but shit happens, you should make your buddy pay for at least half if not a new one. Cause he's the one who broke it.

And where do you live? You might just need to try harder to find a cheaper slide.

I'm in Muskoka (doubt you guys know where that is) The only place to buy stuff like that is in a small general store and the chick that works there is so harsh, she won't even let me go over into the stoner section because she knows i blaze. I'll try the epoxy, and if it doesn't work, I'll try and score a new one.
