I love deep thoughts. Yours is interesting too. Question: are cannabinoid receptors sensitive to any other chemicals? It just doesn't seem to me that one of the most common receptors in the nervous system, as you say, would simply be for getting high. Or that our body would evolve and maintain these cells just to get high from one kind of plant. Not debating you. Just curious.

We can activate our cannabinoid receptors (which just happen to be one of the most prevalent in our nervous system), but, only at low levels. Meanwhile, a plant, that grows just like us (sort of), can activate them, instantly. It intoxicates us, but unlike any other intoxicant. Supposedly, cannabinoid receptors evolved within us and connect us to a unique, foreign object. There Rating: 5
