Without doing any research whatsoever, I would assume that any receptors in our brains are designed to receive chemicals that are made in our brains. It's a closed loop system, unless you count nutrients and air, which are both heavily filtered before they can be used. The fact that cannabis 'fits' these same receptors just means that... fat chicks can squeeze into smaller jeans. Or God meant for us to get high, to mix up our brains enough to make us more interesting and unpredictable.

But since by most definitions, God is omnipotent, there is no such thing as unpredictable. There is no such thing as a random number, for example. Any computer uses an algorithmic pattern based on the date, time, etc, and processed by whatever forms of arithmetic (date x 12 divided by the number of users online in China plus 1) to acheive a "random" number, which seems to be random to the end user, but is not.

We are not random either. We're programmed and predictable, based on various factors, most if not all based on survival and procreation. Unless being stoned makes you more likely to get laid or not do something that gets you killed that you otherwise *would* do - ie - walking to the store for ding dongs and milk late at night in a bad neighborhood - it makes no sense that weed is something that has been programmed into us that wouldn't actually kill us, or at the least make us not get laid.

Doesn't stop me though.
