the VERY VERY best thing to do when you get stoned is to turn on the CARTOON NETWORK, but mute the TV, and then also turn on a radio on a rap station...muted cartoons and rap music...it's like a soundtrack to the cartoons, and sometimes it looks like the cartoon characters are singing along...it's fuckin hilarious!

but as far as movies go...i thought THE CELL was pretty trippy ... it freaked me out big time, even not stoned...also try BOOGEYMAN and HIDE AND SEEK...hide and seek was the scariest shit ever, mostly because it turns out to be soooo realistic...

the old disney movies are great when stoned or dosing fantasia is still one of my favs and gullivers travels was real good the quality of the animation has never been matched ...the wizard of floyd is pretty cool to [ wizard of oz set to dark side of the moon ] also if you can find it drug store cowboys is pretty good

I like the movie wonderland too. It's about some fucking porn star and murder and shit. It's a real story. It's got lots of drugs in it too.

Blow! is a great movie but it's depressing in the end.

anyone seen TwinTown ? its set in Whales and stars Ryse Ivans .... personally it made me chuckle when i watched it ...... stoned of course...
( also Fear and Lothing in Las Vagas is better in book form then film , just my personal opinion )

What about Videodrome? Someone mentioned this one in the "Deep Movies" thread. I can remember watching this back when I first started getting stoned in the early '80's and it was so trippy.

Another good one from the early '80's was Dreamscape. The last scene where they're fighting in the dream is pretty stoney.

Yet another one from the '80's, and probably my all time favorite movie to see while stoned, is Dr. Detroit. This is the one where Dan Akroyd becomes a pimp. The scene where he is first "recruited" and they get him high is classic. It is finally coming out on DVD in September so if you've never seen it I'd definitely recommend renting it.
