A 7 day old avatar, decent start?

Im not an experienced grower, but they're off to a good start, right?

From what i gather, my girls are nearly twice the size of most at 1 week.
At that growth rate its hard to justify the 18/6 that has been reccomended.
How long should I keep them on a 24 cycle? (and why?)

If you think this a stupid Q Im sorry but Im not too proud to admit I've alot to learn!

They can be kept on a 24 hour growth cycle until they're ready to flower, most people recommend 18/6 though because during the dark period various important things happen that contribute to the growth of your plant such as root growth and such. It'll happen anyways but you could sort of help that with a dark period but it's really up to you.
